CELTIC RADIO PROGRAMS

The Sound of Erin is Celtic programs that feature interviews, music, book reviews, sports and other items of interest for the world-wide Celtic Community. The Saturday afternoon show is divided into segments, that also have a 24/7 audio stream:

  • To start Saturdays off right, begin "Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann" with long-time co-hosts Larry and Sean Reynolds. The music based format is primarily traditional music and sean-nos ( old-style) Irish songs.

  • After the Reynolds father-son part of the show,
the "Sound of Erin"segment begins at 1:30. Hosted by John Curran,  the format features contemporary music and ballads.

  • Then it's on to"Celtic Country" a program which is just that: Country and Western songs by celtic recording artists. Hosted by Martin "Ceann Rua" Corbett .

  • Followed by Jim MacLeod, who hosts "Maritime Melodies" the music and songs from the Maritime provinces off the eastern coast of Canada .

  • After Maritime Melodies is the GREAT NEW SHOW called The Irish Rambler Radio Show, Hosted by well known Boston Irish entertainer Dan Hallissey. With a wonderful blend of comedy, song, music, educational and historical tidbits as well as the weekly "Care To Spare" charity appeals, the Irish Rambler Radio Show is a New Dimension in Irish Radio programming in America.
